route: starting on bournemouth prom and finishing near the bournemouth marathon festival hub in the lower gardens, this beautiful coastal route takes in the bournemouth pier. this race takes place at dusk with the emphasis on light around the route.

entry benefits: each runner will receive a wicking technical finishers t-shirt, accurate chip timing, training plan, great medal, results posted on their my details account within 48 hrs, race recovery pack and a fantastic running experience. runners will receive their L.E.D armband when they enter their starting pen ready for the race.
note: we encourage entrants and spectators to wear fluorescent clothing on race night to enhance the visual spectacle of the speed of light!
event chip timing: timings for all races will be recorded using a chip timing system - your timing chip will be embedded into your running number.
results: a full list of results will be published online, right here on the results page of the event website, following the races on october 4th and 5th, 2014. full and final results will also be made available to relevant parties for the purposes of verification for other events or for the updating of ranking systems. results from the 2013 bournemouth marathon festival are available.
baggage: there will be a baggage drop off point available for runners at the start/finish area. this will be clearly marked in your final details documents and signage will guide you there on the morning of the race.
