speed of light 5k

date:  saturday 5th october 2013

start time: the 5k will start at 7pm. 

price: there are various entry options, please click here to be taken to them.  entries may close early if the race reaches entry capacity. 

route:  starting and finishing near the bournemouth marathon festival hub in the lower gardens, this beautiful coastal route takes in the bournemouth pier.  this race takes place at dusk with the emphasis on light around the route.

age limit:  11 years and older

entry benefits: each runner will receive a wicking technical finishers t-shirt, accurate chip timing, training plan, great medal, results posted on their my details account within 48 hrs, race recovery pack and a fantastic running experience. 

event chip timing
timings for all races will be recorded using a chip timing system - your timing chip will be embedded into your running number.

baggage
there will be a baggage drop off point available for runners at the start/finish area.  this will be clearly marked in your final details documents and signage will guide you there on the morning of the race.
